They can just put a baseball on the cover with no background for all I care, as long as the game is good it doesn't matter. They could put boy George on the cover, if the game is good and better than last years by a huge margin, then I will buy it...that's a big IF though. Not gonna hold my breathe with this dev team.

Besides, I might be in the minority, but the cover isn't bad at all. I like it...would have looked better with napoli or Cruz on the cover. Lol but the verlander cover is bad to the bone...its aggresive IMO

Like I said, I like the cover, but it would have looked better with blue or gray in the background. However, the cover doesn't really matter, as does the actual game content. It does seem like everyone just loves to hate on the 2K Sports baseball franchise. The cover is really irrelevant when it comes to the actual game. Because that's what matters, right?

i see 2k does the same art design across the sports games.
last year with the 3 pics, this year with the hard red.

One thing that will get me to buy 2k this year [i bought it last year] is if the franchise mode is improved and glitches cleaned up.

Thats it and they got my green, i enjoyed it last year as my bball game of choice.

Not really a fan of this either, More realistic JV with a Blue or Silver background would have been much better.

I don't mind it, just a cover. They could have definitely done without the electrical streaks around his throwing arm.
