Punk does have the Pepsi Plunge, but I doubt anybody in WWE would take that bump.

Then there is the Anaconda Vise.

Plus how close it is to the Pedigree and I doubt Trips would allow that. As well as Punkster saying how bad it was on his knees.

the Pepsi Plunge was good but i can see how that can be brutal on the knees. I also liked the .45 Special as a submission, the Devil Lock DDT wasn't bad, but i liked the Pepsi Twist, i think thats what he should go with. I just don't like how he puts guys on his shoulder, you're thinking this devasting slam or something is coming (if you didn't already know the move) and then a knee finishes it off? It just looks really weak because most of the time the guy's legs are on the ground by the time he gets kneed so it doesn't even look like a move that should finish you. I just think for someone as big as CM Punk has become, his finisher should be cooler.

It's better then other big stars, The Rock just slams you down with one hand or drops an elbow on you. Hulk Hogan drops a leg on you. Cena lets you fall 6 feet to the mat. Austins stunner had people's legs hit the mat way before they got stunned, you think they could've stopped that. The point is, it's hard to get a finisher that looks deadly that's actually really safe because since it's their big guy, it has to be done every night essentially with no error.

Just wondering if you have WWE 12, have you seen a version of the Pepsi Twist in the game?

oh i totally agree that there are a lot of lame finishers out there. Hulk Hogan's might have been the lamest. The Rock Bottom i like because the set up is easy and its a hard slam. I've never liked Cena's finisher either. In fact his is probably lamer than CM Punk's. I don't want it to seem like i'm picking on just CM Punk, the reason i brought up his finisher was because it was mentioned in the article.

And no, bdolski i haven't bought the game yet, i'm gonna wait for a price drop but my brother has it and i've played it but not as CM Punk so i don't know if the Pepsi Twist is in the game.

The Rock Bottom was great because of Rock's athleticism, and the ability for his opponent and camera angles to sell the move. Austin's was great for many of the same reasons. And yeah, it's great that neither move requires a lot of risk, given their stature (at the time).

Agree that Cena's AA and Punk's GTS finishers are weak. I like their submission moves though. Cody Rhodes has a pretty good one.
