The bottom line is that the site takes great amounts of time and that time costs money. If I was able to be paid full time to run the site, it would have been fully operational a long time ago. The fact that I have to use my spare time outside of work to do it limits the time constraints. I would say that if you want the game done as quickly as possible, find a way to supplement my income so I don't have to spend 9 hours per day outside of working on the site.

It's unrealistic, but true. Until that happens, things are moving at a part-time, snails pace.

Just curious - if someone were to edit a roster file with the data currently on the site and make it available for download for free, would there be any issue with this?
As I understand it, all the ratings but the OVR are finished for the players, correct? If that's the case, Madden would automatically calculate OVRs for all the players once you entered all the other ratings into the roster file. If so, such a person making a roster file would not need to wait until week 8, correct?

There is an issue with anything taken from the site that is distributed without consent of the holders of the intellectual property displayed on said website. That is what the copyrights were arranged for.

Your understanding of the ratings currently on the site is also incorrect. All of the attributes you see are INCOMPLETE as they are raw and require further modification. The OVR calculations are part of this modification. If you use the data as it listed right now, they will not match the desired OVRs, which is vital to the system.

So on both counts, waiting until the completion of the OVR calculations and getting the updated modified attributes is the best option. Furthermore, anything needing distribution would have to be permitted by those holding the intellectual property. Until that is done, I advise not going forward with any roster projects at this time.

At this point the site is for personal use for anyone wishing to use the ratings system to improve their individual gameplay. Like I said earlier, its the RE-distribution from entities outside of FBG that causes issues.
