Sorry, didn't see this. I would create it as it will still track your stats and other cool features when the website debuts.

But to answer your question, you can play the game OFFline without an account.

If you'd like, try registering a different email account since Yahoo accounts are known to bounce back e-mails for this process (which the team is currently working on resolving).

You can do this by going into >Features>my2k and updating your "My2K" account.
