Ok this guy does not have a clue about basketball and has lost all credibility when it comes to this game. One of the most ridiculous statements I have read on here in a long time.

completely disagree with Jayson's comments about player movement. Earlier today I played a couple quarters in 2k8,2k9, and 2k10 just to see how the game has progressed over the years and this game (2k12) is easily, hands down the best controlled 2k game I ever played. Going back to the other games I felt like I had limited to no control over my players. I don't even understand the gripe about the game being animation heavy when you can either control or dictate nearly everything your player does, plus you can get out of almost every and any animation you want. Maybe its me but when a game controls and looks this good in motion how can you complain about animations?(I'm actually looking for someone to explain this to me because I don't see this game being animation heavy in comparison to other 2k game).

This is exactly my feeling. Ive played the heck out of 2K11 and thats why the improvements are immediately noticeable to me even from a stripped down short demo. For a game that is coming very close to the best thing we have yet to see in video game basketball, this round table was very negative.
