would you want a game where you have to maintain your dribble with the right bumper everytime you have the ball? why not? you have to in the NBA.
"where bodies to be accounted for" Im not quite understanding were you are coming from.

What is an "evil" in the nba compared to a what you call a "bumping" evil in 2k. To me bumping in 2k11 is a sim gameplay flaw. 2k12 bumping seems more life like although there is still sliding and unreal bumping. in the nba derick fisher can be beaten of the dribble 99% of the time by a quick pg. but every pg in the L does not avg. 30 against the lakers, why..... cuz of defense. not the case with 2k.

bumping is a flaw and can be corrected by improved team d and help d. thjs may have been corrected but, ony being able to play with somewhat slow footed players i can not know until RD.

i'm also really not liking the delay to the block animations.

when i press the block button, it often takes forever for my player to start the block animation. it's really delayed. for some reason they were able to make the pull up jumpers super quick and responsive, but they couldn't do the same for the block animations. this gives the offensive player an unfair advantage...because shooters can rise up and shoot at lightning speed, yet defenders can't rise up as quickly to defend those shots...the game isn't giving you the proper tools to counter the speed of the offensive player.

I felt the same thing when I was playing with the block animation, but I was told that it's almost like real life. If a defender is back peddling on is moving side to side, when the offensive player rises for a shot on the drop of a dime, it may take a split second for the defender to contest the shot. I also heard that if it's a better defender, his response time will be better. No one on Dallas is a good defender, so i understand where they are coming from!

so you agree with me.

why do you always sum up peoples intent and put words in peoples mouth just cuz they dont agree with you. are you in my head? no! if you are intelligent you know the difference between being hype and hypebeast. do you?

no one needs you to defend them. i responded to anothers persons post. other than that my convo has been about the gameplay. idk if you feel the game is perfect. but some do, yet you dont attack them amd their opinion. but you label anyone whos opinion may not be to your liking as commplainers, negative or they have an agenda.

I see some people here mentioning about the delay that occurs when passing.

I notice it too but I think it's a good thing it's there because it makes lead passing less accessible especially to cheesers.

And the delay only happens when you do a lazy/careless pass or when you pass with a defender right in the passing lane.

yeah, that makes sense. i'll have to get my hands on the retail version and try some better perimeter defenders to see if they aren't as delayed.

Yeah, I think the game is perfect...even though the conversation we were just having has to do with something about the demo I dont like. Makes sense.

I dont "attack" anyone for their opinion, good or bad, who cares? but I know the difference between people giving feedback and people with an agenda.

You (trying to potray your username I guess) are the one in these threads saying everyone is jacked up on hype or saying the game is perfect (even though youve yet to give an example of this). Can you disagree with me? The "View recent posts" option doesnt lie, lol

WTF is up with my demo? It seems I can never win anymore, and I found it too easy before. Either the difficulty got harder, or I'm unlearning how to play NBA 2K because of all this freestyling and no plays.

Re: NBA 2K12 Demo Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360, PS3)

The steal attempt animations, when attempting to intercept a pass is still sometimes a bit much. They give the player attempting the interception too much momentum in the direction he's reaching in sometimes. That can be toned down, or either let us be able to branch into a shot block attempt.
