anybody notice there are more than one animation for jumpin over the scores table.......i tried goin into crowd at bottom of screen but i guess those animations are not in demo..

Looks like I will skip 2K12 and get the next generation 2K on the new consoles.

But there's a couple things I liked:

1) The new replay camera angle looks sick, Wade on a fastbreak did a one handed dunk and the replay looked just like on a TNT broadcast.

2) The smoother animations

Just got an and-1 lay-up with Dirk. Haslem tried to draw the charge under the hoop and got knocked over. After the basket Dirk leaned over Haslem and barked at him.

This demo is a jump shooters' paradise. Seeing as how Dustin said that the demo build feels sluggish, I can't even imagine how smooth the retail build will be with jumpers.

Having a great time with the demo, you're really going to have to know how to play defense to stop a good offensive team this year.

I also noticed that the Mavericks are SLOW. Staying in from of Wade and LeBron is a big chore, and if you move over to double team, they will make you pay for it. It seems like Mario Chalmers is the best three point shooter in the NBA after playing this game.

I cannot wait for Oct. 4th, i'm having so much fun with this demo.

I'm sure you may speak like this, but I find it hard to believe that you would type like this unless it was on purpose...

The A.I. is leaps and bounds more intelligent as far as basketball goes, and this is only a 4 minute quarter on casual/default. There are more pump fakes, up fakes, head fakes, and dribble drives from players (mainly Wade and LeBron) than I've ever seen in a video game. They are doing moves that you see guys do in the gym. Bosh is nice down low. As for what we control, Dirk is outrageous, almost unstoppable. I can use Kidd like he does in real life, and post up and overpower Chalmers/House to get easy buckets. As soon as we can use plays, its going to be so much fun.

BTW: I coach 7th grade basketball, and that's where the fundamentals all begin for most kids...so trust me, I know basketball (to touch on your 2nd post).
