I played the demo a few times and it feels great. Nba 2k11 was the first sport title that I enjoyed playing throughout the whole year. Looks like Nba 2k12 will be no different. The first thing I will do is to jump in the training camp mode and learn the new stuff! God job 2k!

Re: NBA 2K12 Demo Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360, PS3)

In real life, one of Dirk's go to moves seems to be starting off driving one way and then spinning back the other way, and sometimes even spinning back again before shooting.

Is there a way to do this in 2k12? I was hoping you could start a "Drive to Key" thing and then trigger a post spin move but it seems that once you start the drive, your controls then go back to isomotion instead of post moves.

Also, last year, you could post up and then fake a turn around fadeaway and then your player would swing his foot back around and you could basically do a fadeaway pump fake, come back, and then actually go up with the turnaround fadeaway. I loved doing that move in 2k11, but it doesn't seem that you can do that anymore. Any tips?

And lastly, I was hoping you could trigger an up-and-under, but instead of stepping through, step back for a fadeaway jumper, but it doesn't appear that you can do that.

I don't know what other way to describe it . Its fine I've adapted and i can live with it , however i still think it needs more work because if i turn a certain way i want to move that way not WAIT a second for it to play out and change direction.
Passing for example is the same .
I cant tell you how many times already where its actually DIFFICULT to finish a 3-1 fast break !
It should be one of the most simplest plays to make but somehow my pass is tipped or passed to the wrong man .
Directional passes SUCK !
I don't want to hold icon every time i want to pass it SHOULD be fluid .
With all this said I LOVE the game it has a lot of potential and some great ideas and some cool people who actually listen to our feedback.
but
When i hear such praise of perfection from so many like theres no room for improvement that scares me . lol

Anyway the game is a first day purchase for me I just want my voice heard so the producers know this game is by no means perfect in EVERY ONES eyes .

MUCH respect Czar and thanks for all that you give to the community !!!!
Thank you sir ! I understand. We can Always fight for better improvement in that area. I think like you mentioned it is better than last year and I am hopeful they can increment their way to what you want. Where the only delay is the natural one you would have and nothing artificial. That's what's up.

My points don't really apply to you then. There is another segment that want's control "outside" of realism I get really finicky in that area like instantaneous stop's and starts regardless of the players physics.

Trust me the Dev's are in no way satisfied with their current progress. I honestly feel through being up there as much as I was this year that every moment that could be spent on the development of this game was spent. That doesn't mean we shouldn't say I like mine with mustard & mayo. LOL

A lot of them read through the threads so give good deep reasoning behind why you don't like something. What you posted above let's them know that you don't have unreasonable demands and that you acknowledge their improvement. It's much easier for them to digest well balanced input like you dropped above.

When threads get personal we loose our influence. Ultimately that is bad for us.( not directed at you at all)

I love the feel of the game, I got to make one of dirk's crazy one leg shots it was awesome. The animations for pushing the ball are great and the AI looks like its gonna put up more of a challenge this year. Love all the info released so 2k will be gettin my cash before the game drops rookies or none draft class was wack anyway I'll live.

One thing i can't figure out is why don't we have the options between bouce pass and lob pass. When you go so deep into details, like 2K does, to make the best sim ever, I really can't find any reason not to add it to the game.

It used to be in 2K7 I think, shame they took it off.

Is it just me or does the shot contest button feel "laggy" or even unresponsive at times?
