Good eye most everyone does. Super B (beluba)gave you casual size ups for when your not being pressured. He's real NOICE

well Dustin and czar said that the demo felt sluggish to them so I expect the full version will have no delay in the passing

Us PS3 guys haven't seen any. The promo pops up but Lebron and Dirk are nowhere to be found. I hope they fixed that for the retail version.

Honestly I don't remember it being a problem in the final. I will hop on the demo again. uggggggg and see if I notice it.

Are you guys holding the pass button or just tapping it ? Just curious. I don't believe it came up playing the final men.

Almost certain I would have noticed that but I was concentrating on the plays. In general the demo is much more sluggish to me overall than the final. Including player movement and passing would have to be included in that.

They made it this year to that depending on your skill level your crosses are faster/ better. Playing with Crawford or Rose is much different and much more explosive than playing Kidd / Dirk / Chandler.

From what your saying though I have no idea if that is close enough for you to find the game enjoyable.

Now to your other point of real life. There are only certain times ( when the ball is in your hands) that you can change direction and speed in real basketball. When the ball has left your hands your stuck in an animation if you will.

Game companies handle this one of two ways. They cheat like elite did last year and allow you to move and change direction when you shouldn't to give you the feeling of instant control. The problem is once you cheat in on area you have to continue to cheat to keep the game balanced.

IE they had to make shot blocks where the defender doesn't bend his legs.. And on and on it goes until your no longer playing a game based on reality. BUT it sure feels great as your crossing over 7 ways to Sunday...

In real basketball that delay is not known to those who are watching the game you just see a player pull up or cross. But if you think about it you know that decision was made a second or part of a second or two before that.

2k tries to make control decision based on what would a real player be able to do. While still trying to give you as much control as possible while STILL giving you a game that looks like actual basketball movement.

Taking all of that into consideration I would rather have game based on real movement and have it look like basketball players making basketball moves.

This is why I like to compare games to other games when trying to decipher what is good or what can a company do better. Because no game will compare to the "game" we think should be made.

But when you compare the benefits and the issues with 2k to any other game available including that games limitations 2k stands alone.

People are excited I think because they understand that compared to what has been available in the past 2k12 gets you there more than any other game previously made.

If you disagree I would love to see which game you feel handles control , look and implementation based on real basketball better.
Czar .
I HIGHLY respect your opinion !!
I agree with most of your points .
I still have a few problems with this game while others (many) are claiming PERFECTION .
While i understand a persons momentum should have weight and hold true in a basketball video game , I find myself too much waiting for the moving animation to play out .
I don't know what other way to describe it . Its fine I've adapted and i can live with it , however i still think it needs more work because if i turn a certain way i want to move that way not WAIT a second for it to play out and change direction.
Passing for example is the same .
I cant tell you how many times already where its actually DIFFICULT to finish a 3-1 fast break !
It should be one of the most simplest plays to make but somehow my pass is tipped or passed to the wrong man .
Directional passes SUCK !
I don't want to hold icon every time i want to pass it SHOULD be fluid .
With all this said I LOVE the game it has a lot of potential and some great ideas and some cool people who actually listen to our feedback.
but
When i hear such praise of perfection from so many like theres no room for improvement that scares me . lol

Anyway the game is a first day purchase for me I just want my voice heard so the producers know this game is by no means perfect in EVERY ONES eyes .

MUCH respect Czar and thanks for all that you give to the community !!!!

Yeah I've seen three. One with Dirk/Bron b acking each other down, Dirk/Bron acting like their gonna do something then leaving right after, and can't remember the other one.

Some more impressions:

+ Don't know if I mentioned it already, but contextual passing is much better, though still iffy in spots. I'm seeing more bounce passes and lobs when appropriate.

+ Using deny ball on a post player feels so much more responsive than last year. Fronting the post actually works now.

does it matter if you hold or tap? i thought the passes were the same either way...

there is definitely a delay to some passing animations...not all of them, about 1 of every 6 passes has a delayed animation.

here's the thing...there are ugly people in real life, so there should be ugly people in video games.
He doesn't look like a monkey in real life dude...
