New member here. Been checking out this site for a while and I must say I've been loving the demo. LeBron and D-Wade have been a problem to guard so far and I'm loving that. The post game has been a little difficulty to nail down but once I get into the new practice mode when the game comes out I'm sure I'll get it.

Sorry if me not be satisfy with players after they hit a GW do a quick celebrating and then just walk away as if it never happened makes you upset. With 2K i expect amazing detail in everything and for the most part they do a great job but this is one area they never seem to touch (not that its EXTREMLY important, but eould love to feel like i did something).
I not sure what you saw, but i hit a game winner with Rudy Fernandez, team celebrated for a min, then the refs checked to see if the shot was good, when it was called a good shot they went nutz and it looked pretty good.

I agree it would be better to have those features, as they have had them in the past. At the same time i can consider, from the developers point of view, reasons to restrict so much. One big reason is to apply standardization. If everyone plays with the same team in the same element using the same plays (or non plays) the feedback the developers recieve from that would help to fix bugs or just to utilize in future games. I would think that because nba2k games tend to add lots of more code and new algorithms to the game, there is reason to think there will be plenty of flaws that would go mostly unnoticed until the retail game came out. For example, 2k10 had a crap load of glitches, and i believe it was the last 2k game that offered the ability to choose teams and a two player mode.

It just makes it easier to recieve feedback this way when everything is uniform (controled).

Alot of other things (play calling) might take up a lot more memory than we would think (although having simple play calling like quick pick and roll, quick screen, quick post up i would think wouldnt really take up that much memory).

I think another huge reason is just to tease everyone with, if the demo played like a real (yet limited) game, people might hold back more on buying the retail game cuz they could continue to get kicks out of it with a friend or brother or try various things with various players.....this demo is supposed to be enough to show u the game and allow u the gameplay but not enough for you to be satisfied. They want u to want more, they want u to buy the game.
