NBA 2K12 Demo Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360, PS3)

Saw a couple of new dunks during my last game. One was a two handed power dunk with a little hang from Tyson Chandler. After releasing from the rim, one of his arms thrust wildly in the air, like young Kenyon Martin used to do after he dunked. And to be honest, it looked pretty Chandler-like. I'd doubt he'd have signature dunks, but it coincidentally looked very close to reality.

Also, I saw a new LeBron James dunk (or new to me) where he double pumped it with two hands, taking the ball down near his waist. I saw one like this one in 2K11, but not quite the same.

I'm also loving the modified shots that even the CPU will use. Wade went for a spin layup, couldn't finish it because of the contact, and changed the shot into some weird one-handed slop that somehow went in.

Michael Jordan was in the game for the first time, Mike Wang was back, Da Czar was involved, etc etc...

That had nothing to do with such a terrible demo

People are playing because they like the work of the devs, not because they're being starved... thats the silliest thing I've ever heard in my life

That said, Im glad I can slow things down when I want to and walk the ball up the court now

I like the fact that Lebron was pulling off dribble moves to get open on me, but in 3 games nobody went bananas on me

One play I left Chalmers open and everyone else was covered and after he scoped the floor he took the open 3..not just blindly chucking it up but after he saw other options not there

Only thing I'm really having a tough time with is the shimmy. I tried to shimmy left then right, then go back left for the fadeaway with Dirk and he shimmied left, then pump faked and did a step through jumper off the glass.... strange. Guess I moved the sticks to quick or something?

this is the first game in the series that d-wade actually looks like his human counterpart......demo is good so far..........cant wait till october for the real thing!!!!!!
