NCAA Football 12 Title Update #2 Available Now For PS3, Post Impressions Here

Updating my post earlier about the option - I just saw a play where basically the same thing happened as the other guy. The matchup is bad as it's Nebraska vs an FCS in week 1, but even an FCS team shouldn't do something like that.

I can try to describe it before I get the vid uploaded, plus it's not going to show the most serious part -

Play appears to be a Shotgun speed option to the left, same as the other guy. After the snap, the 2 LB's and Safety on the HB's side of the field just start sliding over to the left. OLB gets blocked before the pitch and the MLB gets blocked after it, but the safety never gets touched and doesn't really do anything. The only one involved in the play is the far left CB in man coverage, who gets off his WR but fails to make the tackle. Free run to the endzone.

Will try to get the clip up soon. Early thought is that maybe a certain defensive play is busted.

I'm very eager to see the patch for myself, but I'm not encouraged by the impressions. I like a lot of things about NCAA '12, but so many parts of the game just don't work, or don't work as well as they have in the past. So far, this game could join '05 as a strangely disastrous release.

Ok outside of the stupid post patch glitch stuff. I noticed besides them fubar and killing/deleting I-Form tight and Weak I Tight(what????) there's two new formations in shotgun. Trips Unbalanced with three plays in it and Wing Trips Wk(Weak) Pats with 6 passing plays in it.

Also, 5WR HB formation has been renamed Empty Spread. Also two of the Split Shotgun formations have been renamed ASU Split and BYU Split.

The Wildcat and Wildcat Spread formations are gone, so whatever playbook you pick you get their wildcat it seems.

Just posting this as an FYI to evertone.
