Here is the post from INTEG on the 7th for a patch release date.

Patch # 2 to be released Sept 7th

If the patch drops on the 7th, the EA rep is employee of the decade and we are going to Vegas.

So I'm not telling anyone not to be mad, but simply curb your enthusiam when you buy this game in the future, and understand what you're getting into. Hopefully that will ease the tension and anxiety that some of you feel year after year.

It's so weird. I never tell people that are enjoying the game that they shouldn't enjoy it and that their opinions are "hilarious", or mock them and try to convince them in the other direction.

Yet, whenever anyone posts about not liking the game, it's immediately met with people like you telling us how dumb we are for buying it and trying to convince us that it's good.
