And how do you figure EA is supposed to find out when the patch should be expected? Send their corporate ninjas into Sony and Microsoft headquarters and spy on them?

We know when EA sent to patch in for approval. As much as what has happened with this game makes me angry, at this moment there is absolutely nothing EA can do about this situation.

Give me a break. EA knows exactly the status of the patch and where Microsoft and Sony are in their testing.

this year was a record sale for them, and with all the social media, and different ways they can find to get the game to a larger audience, sales are going to increase each year here on out.
I think it's odd that you've minimized the people that are unhappy with the game to "30", and also limited it to people that post on a gaming message board.

Fact is, this year was NOT a record sale for them. Much like Madden, NCAA has been going down or staying around the same in sales for a few years now.

Fact is, if you repeatedly put out a poor product, sales will go down. This has been proven throughout history many, many times.

Fact is, sales of any updated product are mostly based off how the predecessor(s) have performed. NCAA Football was a staple in the sports gaming for years, and has lived off that for a while. With this years version being so poor, look for sales to be affected next year, not this year.

Fact is, when there IS increasing sales or even sales that stayed level despite poor quality, it has a LOT to do with more and more Xbox and Playstation systems being commonplace in homes with each and every year. It's like saying that people must love 3-D, because there's been so much money made off of 3-D movies the last couple years compared to the past. Of course the reason is, there's a lot more 3-D movies being made.

fact is:
http://www.ea.com/ncaa-football/blog/record-start

made a big splash out of the gates it seems to me.

fact is, if you don't belong to the OS community you don't know there are any potential issues with the game.

fact is, out of the hundreds of thousands of people that bought this game there is about a 2% +- that can find anything in the game to complain about.

Would you mind sharing your sources on these my friend? If you think you need to belong to OS to notice the custom playbook glitches, the broken coach progression, freezes, etc. then you are living on another planet.

BadAssHskr is right on this point. The majority of players are arcade style players. They don't care whether the db's stay in their zones or not. They want to run 4 streaks EVERY PLAY and rack up 100 points on their friends over and over. This is the truth. I have a dozen friends that play this game, and I am the only one who tweaks sliders to make the game more difficult and realistic, and I am also the only one who plays it like a real game.
