This better mean what I think it means, adding my own music to the game, which will be uncensored and pure epicness. And I'm hoping these features aren't missing in the PC Version...

I don't want to be the one to ruin the party with negative comments but...it's probably just turning off a couple of songs and then the achievement pops up (Like in the previous years).

Otherwise. I'm getting this game. On release day. The info on MyPlayer has got me pumped (Contracts, buying packages(hopefully with the contracts, and the Creating a Legend mode which is entirely seperate from MyPlayer). Online is finally coming around (I never had a problem with the connection in the first place, just got tired of playing cheesers) with an Online Association (I can see them taking the site down because of this feature).

I wouldn't be surprised if the "Create a My2k account" has something to do with the community website. It'd be nice being able to access the forums there through the 360. Or something similiar to that, such as being able to access certain things(If it's just DLC I'll be dissapointed...unless it's free ).

This is an obvious first-day buy like 2k11 was

Wow, it seems that I missed that.

At first glance, I thought it was just like last year's MJ mode, but I'm starting think that's right!

I remember reading a tweet from either Mike Wang or Ronnie saying they were trying to include My Player for the rookies, but for any NBA player? That would be amazing.

After reading your post, I feel like it will either be for the rookies or the legends.... then again... the lockout prevents them from adding the rookies to the game... idk how the mode would work if it centered around taking current players on an NBA journey. I wonder if it give the user control over the chosen player during his "rookie" season or drop him or her into his current run in the NBA.

I think this year's Create a Legend would be any one from the 15 Greatest Players.
