Wow, no offense man, but you're a little too gung ho for EA. C'mon ....don't just be satisfied just b/c you're a football fan and the game turns on and boots up properly. To each his own though....

And if you don't think "EA will screw us for an entire year", ask the ppl who bought their NCAA college basketball game about that. NCAA football sells more copies than that game so I doubt EA would do that here, but that proves they arent above doing something shady like that......that also doesn't mean that this patch will be anything more than an "attempt" to fix this game. An attempt which I hope will fix this game, but in my heart I feel this patch is just going to be an attempt to avoid a PR nightmare.

Yeah other game developers never really seem to have to problem with MS and Sony except EA Sports.

Actually it was a recent post. IMO that should mean if the patches work properly and don't mess up the consoles we should see the patch next week.

If it doesn't pass MS or Sony's watch....it could be awhile (although I don't anticipate that)

Of course I'm just speculating as I have no expertise in this whole thing.

Listen....i'll be the first to give a harsh reaction if a) there is actually no patch or b) if the patch doesn't change anything.....I just like to be optimistic until there's hard concrete facts that steer me the opposite way...Am i 100% satisfied? No i'm not....Is the game so unplayable as people make it seem? No it's not...I'm making due for now and being a gamer that only play baseball/football games, it's not like i have a lot of options as far as video games are concerned....
