There's no way that every player in the game should be able to make a deke from 3 to 9 (or 9 to 3) to pass a D every time. To me, the more you try it, the less it should work because you can beat a D one time, but next time, he'll be ready for it.

Definition of a glitch : Something use by the majority because it's working and those who master it are able to successfully do it every time. That deke you talk about is a glitch because if you're good with the stick, you can do it every time (against a CPU).

Blocking shot will never be a glitch because you have to be in perfect position to block a shot. That was a glitchers answer you came up with there.
You still don't get it. In NHL 11, it wasn't a guaranteed success. The complete stick movement and animation is removed.

And no, I'm not a glitcher. If I was, I would have had more than 50 points in EASHL for all of NHL 11.

Look at you, so cute.

Doing 9 to 3 or vice versa really did work all the time in EASHL to get past defenders. Oh, it worked on scoring breakaways too. Thankfully it's not going to work that good now.

Ok, ok, let's say you're not a glitcher and we jump the gun a bit, it's fine?

It's a fact that on every clip I saw, I didn't see any CPU or Hum do a deke. If that part of the game is thrown out the window, I'll be the first one to yell of joy in the second.

Would be fun if someone who played the demo could say that the deking in the game isn't as precise as it was in NHL 11.

i def like what im seeing on superstar hardcore, while position locked at RW. the CPU and my CPU teammates actually played a solid game of hockey.

more shots missing the net is great... the dump ins have been fun to watch as well!!

im having more fun being position locked, seems to play a better overall game of hockey. with slider tweaks this could be the mode i can actually get into now.

I'm pretty disappointed that players can't collide into their own goalie because this leaves the game open to getting cheap penalty calls by driving forwards into your own goalie.

Also I was really looking forward to the satisfaction when some crappy D man makes a desperation dive from 20 feet away and slide tackles his own goalie.

Guys, can we please lay off the childish name-calling and bickering?

I feel like I saw an instance where I was checked back into my own goalie during a game. Maybe it can only be initiated that way?
