Ya I already preorded NHL and FIFA but they didn't have the RDD then. I was going to cancel and reorder but I saw that I could just change the delivery type to RDD and not have to cancel. So I think I'm still getting the $20 credit.

sucks i missed this $20 dollar deal for NHL, i was waiting for release date delivery as well before buying.. reason, i had placed an order before, then had to update to release date delivery when it was available, and even after i did, it didnt come for 3 days. when i have done it all at once, never an issue.

i bought NCAA 12, got $20, used that and got Madden 12, got $20, now used that for NHL 12, got $10..

not bad for a sports gamer, basically buy 2 get 1 free.. thank you Amazon for that!!

I think a major difference is different dev teams. NCAA seems to be a buggy hot mess until the 2nd title update every year. NHL on the other hand is generally solid day one.

I pre-ordered on August 1st when it was still the $20 credit, and then changed to RDD. Hopefully that does not change my credit from 20 to 10.

As long as you did not cancel and only edited the shipping speed, you will be fine.
