I would like Madden to add the Break Tackle rating in the future. It would add depth in run game. It would help for RBs who are power backs but are not known for trucking or stiff arm.
What does the toughness rating actually do

If anyone is having trouble running the ball, I think I may have found some simple demo slider edits for now. NOTE: You CAN change the CPU sliders without the difficulty changing. If you change the user sliders, the difficulty will default to Rookie. Game speed at Slow, Threshold at 30. Also I had auto sprint ON, don't know if that helped but I found myself instinctively pressing the trigger anyway.

All I did so far was change The Pass Defense Reaction Time slider to 39 (Tinkered with it between 35 and 45) And changed Block Shedding under Rush defense to 46. Didn't change Rush Defense reaction time because it seemed like the D-Lineman would shed blocks when it was too late, and watching the Seahawks/Chargers game, D-Lineman DO shed blocks quickly from time to time, so I may move the Reaction Time UP a little.

Forte finished with 16 carries for 77 yards and a TD (Game went into OT)

However, I would consider the team you're up against. GB has some exotic blitz packages and they look just as they do on TV. They'll put guys up on that line every play almost and you won't know who's blitzing, so you really have to pay attention and throw quick routes to back em off. After a couple of quick slants and outs (Some unsuccessful, no cheese here ) They started to come out in more traditional 3-3-5 sets rather than the 2-4-5 they run a lot. They still will blitz like crazy but you have to read the defense and know when to run and where. And if all else fails, run AWAY from Clay Matthews!

these are the three small things that I want madden to put in the game
1. have players actually wear mouth guards.
2. have players wear just shorts, cleats, pads, helmets and a practice jersey to practice. It's stupid how they practice in full game gear.
3. Have the option to save a game and then resume it later.

Re: Madden NFL 12 Demo Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360, PS3)

OK I have played the demo more and I can't believe people are saying this is the best Madden ever!! It's not even close to Madden 2005 and the last gen games. I have NCAA also and I am not the biggest college football fan and i'm a huge NFL fan so believe me I want to like Madden.. I just can't. The game play is not anywhere as smooth as NCAA. I do like the fact that Madden has more weight to the players but it cancels itself out with how bad the players move. It's also way to fast! It look's and play's nothing like real football. I will say the presentation puts NCAA to shame. Madden looks beautiful with the stadium entrances and replays but as soon as your playing it looks worse then NCAA if you ask me.. Maybe not the player models but the animations and the action on the field. It's light years ahead of 11, no questions.. 11 was the WORST Madden of all time. The only Madden I liked this gen is 10. This game is OK and I'm still hoping I get in to it but NCAA plays 100x better!!

i think the toughness rating determines how long a player stays out of the game when he is injured. If a player has a high toughness rating, he'll only stay out for a few plays, but if he has a low toughness rating he might stay out for the entire game.

And before i hear "you can change speed in the menus" I know that but I only play online ranked games and you won't be able to tune any of those settings!! Also I think your forced to use strat pad online but I can't remember that?
