Madden NFL 12 Demo Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360, PS3)

From little of I played of it so far. I really like it and am Looking forward to it.

Said same things about NCAA, so I'll wait and see the final product before I judge this game. Still a 1st day buy for me though because I love the NFL more than I do College.

Graphics are fantastic though IMO

I just one question. I thought Madden 12 was going have a tackle button? I missed a lot of tackles... Love the demo cant until August 27....

I saw an option for caming the Camera. Whats that all about? Does anyone know what the different angles are?

I just hope that they will give defensive users more time to make adjustments such as cycling through your players and picking one to spy vick, setting delayed bump and run, and setting qb contain for the ends. Since many online users will use the eagles the current time allowed for the defensive user to setup their defense is nonexistent. I have only time to make one adjustment after picking a play then pressing R3 to get rid of the useless sideline view.

To me this is THE DEALBREAKER for me. Other annoyances are minor and I like the demo a lot more than the broken and overhyped ncaa 12.

the time is compressed since we call plays much faster in a game compared to real life. in a real game, they snap the ball with only a few seconds left on the play clock. in the game, we call plays in only a few seconds. therefore, we run more plays in a shorter amount of time and that is why we are able to get realistic numbers in a shorter amount of time. haven't you ever noticed how much dead time there is in an nfl game? iirc, they only play 11 minutes out of 60.

I downloaded and played a number of game using both the Packers and the Bears. Madden 12 actually feels good. Not GREAT but good. I will admit, there's more good than bad though. I've noticed a lot of foot planting which helps, for me, add to the realism and fairness. Only when a player running with the ball is just running full speed, does it seem that he does not need to adjust to make certain cuts and movements, which still is pretty ugh. Game look amazing for the most part. I could list the complaints like super LB and all of that stuff but why beat a dead horse?

In summary however, I STILL do not feel that I'll be buying Madden this year. (That can change) Just isn't exciting like it use to be....

Did anybody else experience random Hail Mary's being called against them? To make it worse, I waited to see what my cpu defenders would do..... and they just stood there, not even turning around to face the ball. So first game, and Jay Cutler completes two deep bombs on me while my cpu dbs just stood there. Not too impressed right now (this is All-Pro by the way).

Haven't seen this once in 3 games. 2 on all-madden and one on all-pro
