I really like this demo and cant wait for the real deal. Played it on all-pro and very slow speed with threshold at 25 and it finally felt like I just played a football game. Final score GB-3 CHI-0. To bad NCAA 12 didnt play this good.

You're entitled to your opinion I just think it's EA hateboy talk.
Why is that whenever someone has a dissenting opinion about Madden, it automatically qualifies him as an EA hateboy? In order for me to be an EA hateboy, I would have to actively boycott and protest against all EA products correct? That means I should be in the FIFA, MMA, and NHL forums criticizing those games too, right? You're talking to the same guy who use to live and breath EA Sports products back in the 1990's.

Anyway, to get back to impressions, I did find that passing is easier in this game than in NCAA 12. I was able to throw 70% with both QB's on All Pro (albeit with a couple of picks in the process). I could never do that in NCAA. However, I still think the O-line/D-line interaction is flawed and needs some serious work; it's not as dynamic as it should be. Also, the QB throwing animations are still too slow in certain situations. This disables the player from truly utilizing step drops and timing on certain routes. It seems like the only routes that are consistently successful are curl routes and slants. This shrinks the game because now it encourages the user to only call plays utilizing those routes.

They played a lot of man, bump and run, before Dom Capers. I believe they mix it up quite a bit more now and play zone as well.

Why? Because you said "NFL2k presentation was hall of fame" Madden is JV. That's completely disrespectful to EA and I promise you EA spent way more time on presentation that NFL2k ever did, just on the simple fact that they went and got each team's authentic intro, each stadium's broadcast camera, and hired NFL films to film the game, went to CBS and sat for who knows how many hours in camera trucks with those guys.

Has anyone noticed any gang tackling???? All I'm seeing is double hit tackles where the first defender initiates contact then kinda lets the guy go and someone else wraps him up.

I love that they have different camera angles for intros. Minor thing, but it will keep it from getting stale. Havent felt the "sunday feel" with a football game since last gen, starting to feel it now though!! Day one purchase for me.

Consecutive hit tackles were explained earlier in the year(April?) that there would be no more than 3 tacklers per ball carrier.

I think the gang tackling(Protak) is a thing of the past.
