The game looks amazing. Still was finding big wholes in the run but seemed like defensive pursuit got there quicker. The zone defense was improved but still seen dbs standing there not reacting. New kicking meter added with the camera angle adds some difficulty to FGs. Although this game does play better than madden 11. I feel like they are on the brink of greatness, but something is missing. After playing ncaa 12 i was expecting alot from madden, but overall its an upgrade from '11.

Yes, he's been absolutely wreaking havoc both for me and against me. I have to leave Grant/Jackson in to help on the left side to try to give Rodgers more time to throw.

Also noteworthy, I feel like the pocket forms better this year. For the first time, I've been finding myself dropping back, stepping up into the pocket, and then throwing the ball almost every play.

I agree with him for the most part. I think I've had one play in about 6 or 7 games that seemed unreal from the LB.

Does anyone else notice AI QB lobbing a lot of their throws?

My PS3 slim is 2 months old. My upstairs PS3 is a older 80gb. I played it on the slim. Has nothing to do with a new or old PS3.

Entitled to your opinion and I agree with a few points, but disagree with several.

1. Camera- This is an early May build, even before E3 vids. JP provided evidence in this thread from a much later build camera is much closer.

2. Crowd always looks awful and I don't think it will be improved till next gen. Ian mentioned a few years ago that graphics would need to be sacrificed if they focused on the crowd and sidelines.

3. You can slow down Rodgers and Cutler with speed acceleration slider (35 instead of 50) and play on slow or very slow. Normal speed feels like NFL Blitz to me.

At least you gave it a shot, though.

Game is definitely an improvement but the O-line blocking logic is still awful. I can already see I'm going to have to deal with nanos when going online.
