I for one don't like using the D-Pad for the pre-snap adjustments. I feel that pressing actual buttons are much quicker and easier, but I guess I'll have to get used to it. Also, im not a big fan of the new kicking meter. Other than that the game plays pretty well

Does no one think that NCAA plays better?? It is so much more realistic and just feels right.. I find the gameplay of Madden 12 way to fast and chaotic and it still does not resemble football.. I still need to play more games.. i could be wrong but after 2 games I was not really into it... It is a whole lot better then the worst Madden of all time though which is madden 11
The words "NCAA (Football 12)", "online", and "realistic" shouldn't be used in the same sentence. I'm contemplating trading in NCAA Football 12 and getting my $30 trade in credit because of the BS in that game. It's fun and realistic to an extent, but a LOT of BS. My QB throwing a slant route 10 yards in front of the WR because he's "tired" is not realistic, it's BS.

You can switch it to the Madden 10 version in the menus.

Re: Madden NFL 12 Demo Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360)

Couple of things I HATE:

1. Madden still has the dumb camera shot when a team is leaving the huddle and walking to the line of scrimmage. I HATE HATE HATE having to hit a button every single play of the game to get them to the LOS at a normal speed and not slow motion. In year's past, this could not be turned off and it looks like it won't be turned off this year either. LAME.

2. Audibles. Why have a different audible system than NCAA? I HATE Madden's audibles. In NCAA and previous versions of Madden (before last year), it was quick and easy to show blitz or change a play but that is not the case in Madden anymore.

Both of these issues are deal breakers for me and I will NOT be purchasing Madden this year. I will play NCAA much more.

NCAA blows Madden out of the water.

Will you be able to change the game speed online?? Could you in last years game?? Also if you can't change it, do you know what speed the online will be set at?? Anyone who could comment would be greatly appreciated!!

Played 4 games of the demo...

Players look great...some a bit too big, but hey, its a video game.

Sliders are nice for the demo...might play around with them later.

Slow speed is the only way to play imho.

Getting pressure with my DL (packers) is too easy...but that's what sliders are for.

Players have weight to them.

Tacking is improved just like NCAA.

Like the kick meter.

Halftime " show" sucks....

Grass looks awesome and I live the grass stains on the uniforms.

Might actually pick it up since I have $52 credit at gamestop.

All in all....pretty good. Like the tidbits they give u about franchise, players traits etc....some if that I wasn't aware of since I wasn't following madden this year.

so far my biggest gripe is players still let go of the block as soon as you get there, or if you wanna call it defenders shedding the block, it always happens as soon as your coming up on them with the ball carrier.
