I wouldn't put too much stock into what they're saying about dropped passes. First, stats can tell many different stories depending on which ones you use and which ones you don't. If Desean's drop percentage is the league's worst, it's probably is due to the fact that he caught under 50 balls, and many of the passes thrown to him are long ( lower percentage type ) passes.

Another reason I wouldn't put too much stock into dropped passes is that Reggie Wayne ( who's is on that list) as well as one of the greatest TEs in NFL history in Tony Gonzales were among the leaders in drops last season. Bringing up Desean's drop percentage, when one of the players on the list ( that no one has disputed) is among the league leaders in drops last season, is merely a lame attempt to discredit Djax.

If you don't think that defenses roll coverage to Desean, then you're right, I don't need to say anything else.
If you want to believe Jackson is the type of player he isn't and you know how teams play coverage more power to you.

And if you want to see a "big play" receiver, I'll tell you again to go look up Mike Wallace. In his 2nd year he was already what DJax fans wish he could be, and pretend that he is.
omg ive read some crazy stuff on here but this tops it all

and i like how i always see D Jax isnt a great route runner why because all you see is him catching deep balls? watch an eagles game for once

What's with the all Jennings hate. Granted I'll admit he's not better than Calvin, but take a look at Calvins last 3 Years and Jennings last 3 Very comparable.

Jennings is a very underrated WR IMO.

They both piss me off lol. One week they put up 150 yards and a couple TDs and the next they'll put up 1 catch for 20 yards. I think Calvin has the better skill set personally and that Jennings is just in the absolute perfect system to get the most out of his skillset, but obviously that's impossible to really prove.

I agree with most of that. However I would still switch White and Wayne. His days are numbered but he seems like the most complete receiver. But there is NOOOO way that Desean is worse than Wallace and only one spot higher than Bowe......in my opinion.

Really?... Do you even watch football. You do know that teams try to cover up other teams number one receivers leaving the lesser receivers more open. Im not sure if youre aware?

You do realize Jennings is in the top 5 for almost every receiving category over the past 4 years? You want to talk about Desean Jacksons big plays? Jennings had slightly less receptions in the 20 yards or more department.

Ill say it again. Calvin Johnson has every receiver trumped in the physical area of playing receiver but his routes arent all that sharp, and he drops his share of passes. Based on production, which is really the standard of Maddens rating system you have to play Jennings ahead of Calvin. Otherwise Nhamdi would be ahead of Revis but again Madden ratings are based on PRODUCTION. Same reason Brandon Marshall isnt up here.

I cant believe I'm still the only one to even mention Nicks. And I hate the Giants.

He was a stud last season but I still think of Steve smith as the giants #1 receiver. I'd still take nicks over bowe any day.
