I'm def no EA fanboy and I'm not totally happy with the current version of NCAA, but sadly in a world of patches and deadlines, this is what we get.

Sports titles in particular get rushed out because of deadlines. Now with patches, they can let the community tell them what is wrong. I def think that patches are a good thing, but it seems that developers are using them as crutches in order to fix things after the fact.

I wish they would test better but this is the world that we live in.

how would everyone feel if ncaa 13 came out with no new features, no upgraded graphics or physics, no improvements of any kind but with updated rosters, uniforms, stadiums etc, AND ABSOLUTELY NO BUGS OR GLITCHES?
i honestly think i would be ok with that. just a thought.

edit: on august 4th i would probably be 5 years into my dynasty instead of waiting on year two

I would be okay with 2 year dev cycles. Not what you were asking, but yes I would be okay with your above scenario as well.

Hmm, that is an intriguing question. If they took NCAA12, fixed all the glitches, made sure all the features worked as advertised, polished the graphics to how they are supposed to look and maybe fine tuned the sounds/atmosphere... I'd be perfectly fine with that.

Well, all that and made the servers much, much better.

Don't think the patch goes in until later this month from what they said, so if this freezing issue is supposed to be fixed via the patch then it will continue until they release the patch.
