If you're going to complain, make valid comparisons that at least give you some amount of credibility.
Actually, I find it quite credible. Extreme example? Perhaps, to some. The underlying issue, consumer pays for something and something in said purchase doesnt function correctly, if at all.

A $60 game may or may not be comparable to a vehicle, depending on who you ask. But the fact remains, for many of us, if we pay $60 or $6000, we expect what we bought to work properly.

I hope that anyone who mentions tires or brakes or any other vitally important aspect of a two ton piece of machinery in comparison to a video game is high school aged or younger. It's sad to think that an adult would use such a specious, harebrained analogy.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Exactly. And did you see his response? There's no reasoning with people like that.

ok would u like me to change it for u....$70 ralph lauren polo shirt...but its missing the buttons at the top. now u dont "need" them to wear the shirt, but will u buy that one off the shelf or will u keep moving the rack until u find one with the buttons?

is that fair enough for u since its same price range? i mean its the logic behind it, not necessarily the example. i dunno about u but im not in the habit of buying ANY flawed products with my money. i dont care if i was poor or rich, cheap or expensive item. doesnt matter to me. if that makes me an idiot or whatever you're trying to infer cuz i think that logic carries over...so be it

I agree the analogy is crap but there needs to be a video game consumer advocacy group formed. THere is a growing trend among developers and publishers in the video game industry to release unfinished buggy content, and fix 'what they can' with patches. Consumers are constantly having to deal with this ****. It's not just EA either.

The POINT which I have made is that your analogy to a car without brakes is ridiculous. You're the one insanely exaggerating, not me.

If you find problems a with a $60 video game to be in line with an extremely vital function of a CAR to be worthy of comparison, then there's nothing else I can say. You chose to make inappropriate comparisons, not me.

But please go ahead, continue to insult me the way you have been. It continues to add to your already stellar credibility.
It's a freaking analogy, please get a grip and shake yourself. Does a video game have anything to do with a car? NO, but treating customers with a little respect is the same in any industry.

So you admit that my post was valid. Thank you, we can move on now.

And it doesn't even matter that it doesn't have anything to do with a car, show me a car ON EARTH that would be sold to a customer without brakes. It's just a stupid analogy. And you know it is.

Then tell me exactly why EA sent out a video game with so many bugs? I've got a copy in my Xbox right now if you need some proof. Calm down a little scooter
