NCAA Football 12 Roster Glitch Confirmed, Patch to Address Concerns

He doesn't run nearly as much as he did with the default non named rosters. He isn't the only one, all the scramblers are that way with named rosters and the balanced QB don't run at all. I'm wondering if EA had this tendency swap occur on purpose to avoid getting in trouble with the whole NCAA player likeness thing(Also odd that you can't give a 6-0, 193lb dark skin man dreads-See Denard). While their default no name rosters have the correct abilities of a Denard Robinson for example, The minute you try to manually edit the name, the tendency swaps so you can't potentially name him Robinson and have his true tendencies...

This has been kicked around by a few people, consensus (for what it's worth until we actually hear something from EA) is that they wouldn't have acknowledged the glitch if it were intentional.

I don't think this is likely. I think they simply have some variables reversed which cause the wrong tendency to be used.

Three questions I would be much obliged if someone could answer:

#1 Is there a confirmed date yet as to when this patch will be released (i.e. will it be ready before the start of CFB season)?
#2 Will they be able to fix the player tendencies in such a way that it will fix the current named rosters we have or we could just download them again and the player tendencies would be fixed?

I have been reading through this thread trying to find these answers. Thanks for taking the time to respond!

You and aaron are probably right. I know with that pending lawsuit against EA by former NCAA players and the whole debate on player likenesses I thought that EA may be trying to curtail the appearance of certain similarities to the real players.

1. As of now there is no projected date for a patch, EA has confirmed that they know of the problem and said they will put out a patch, but they haven't said when.

2. No idea, it would be amazing if the fix affected current rosters, but it's doubtful.
