the options they give us to play the games faster is outstanding, Ive tried the one that puts you in the game once someone is on base for both batting and pitching. Also, I can now play a manger mode game without having to watch every single pitch. BEST BASEBALL GAME EVER!!!!!

In the central league (I've played about a season and a half there With the Carp - 200+ games).

Giants - weak defense, medium pitching, obscene hitting

Swallows - Aoki is a beast in CF. Good solid overall team.

Tigers - Another solid overall team, pitching not quite as good as the Swallows.

Dragons - Wada used to be a beast in LF but recent update has neutered him somewhat.

Carp - most familiar with. Probably the best defensive team in the Central League.

LF Maru - great hitter and speed
CF Akamatsu - defensive specialist who can steal and hit a long ball every now and then
RF Hirose - 4 tool player (not a lot of power)
3B Tracy - Solid hitter with pop. Poor defensively
SS Soyogi - Awesome defense and solid hitter away with power to RF
2B Higashide - Awesome defense and great contact hitter away to LF
1B Kurihara - think Paul Konerko. Lots of pop, solid .300+ hitter

I'm seriously thinking about ordering Pro Spirits 2010. Does the language get annoying after awhile? Would I be able to understand all the stats?

I'm so bad at hitting right now it's not even funny, but I have pitching down pat.

I think it's funny that I can actually understand when the commentators say some universal baseball terms lol.

Yes and the presentation is better than the Show imo. It shows batting averages against teams, runners in scoring position, plain averages, fielding percentages, etc.

Language isn't annoying, you will eventually learn some of the basic terms and characters. Any questions and Muka and Vernon can answer them on their site.

I would recommend the same thing people on the Show do. Slow pitching speed way down but set the rest of the difficulties where you'd like to be. Start slowly moving up the speed as you progress.
