Late to the party as well, I read several pages but never saw this answered....does the roster bug exist BEFORE the 1st Day Patch is applied? Such as using a named roster set, but w/o the Release Day patch. Haven't seen anyone test this out yet, probably a pipe dream but you never know!

This was tested last week and it still exists, pre patch!!!

Has anyone confirmed what is making the game freeze? I have noticed alot of roster talk about tendancies being changed but little about the freezing issue. The reason I ask is because I returned my game to gamestop for a new copy and also erased all rosters from my game to try to avoid the freezing issue. Also, would anybody know if the freezing issue has anything to do with custom playbooks?

Dobzimus prime is still narrowing down ther freeze issue. Its one of the sticky threads in this forum. I think part of it is rosters and part of it is something else corrupting.

I think I may be echoing the sentiment of many that have issue with the slight nuisance of the roster bug. I do not have any issues with waiting a few weeks until a patch is available. College football season is about a month away. My issue is with the uncertainty regarding the hard work put into named rosters by many. The unknown is frustrating, because at least named rosters. Could be enhanced during this waiting time for the patch if it could be applie.

Anyone know a timetable for when the next patch will be?

This game has potential but I've yet to make it through and actual game with the named rosters without the game freezing on me or a pop-up saying "can't read disc". Just seems to be getting ridiculous, since what's the point of spending the money for a game that doesn't work? Have tried installing it on my HD, but nothing seems to work and my 360 plays other games without a problem.
