NCAA Football 12 Roster Glitch Confirmed, Patch to Address Concerns

The roster glitch affects recruiting big time without you having to edit anything.

-If you are recruiting a balanced FB, he comes to your roster as a receiving FB.

-If you recruit a balanced QB, he shows up on your roster as a Scrambler.

Go to the glitch thread, page 34 and this glitch is listed with pictures.

The game is just flip-flopping balanced, with other tendencies. Leaves me thinking that rosters might be salvagable.

Looks like they have addressed this issue with the first patch. Any timetable on when that will be released, im guessing months. Which is sad. Madden may have taken this games place by then. All the other glitches listed are terrible as well.

I pray that the first patch leaves gameplay alone and just fixes errors. The defense is tough on this game, and Im assuming that they will dumb down the defense with a patch like last year. Id hate for that too happen.

I didn't read the whole thread, so this might have been mentioned, but it would appear that this is the reason for so many undersized 'power' backs. It's a minor thing I've noticed for several years now, but you'd have a back with a low 40 time, who weighs about 166, and looks like he should be a 'speed' back, but he's listed as a 'power' back. This would lend credence to the idea that this has been around awhile, and we just never noticed.

Good thing I copped NHL 11 as a back up game to this one just in case a huge bug were to come along.

Every game I have played has been with pastapadre's rosters on AA difficulty and was getting somewhat frustrated with the Super LB's but was still enjoying the game.

I am sorry if this has been asked already, but 93 pages alot to read through and I was just wondering when we can expect a patch?

I'm pretty sure it takes two weeks for a patch to get approved, so probably mid August at the earliest.

I read somewhere august 14th but I am not sure how accurate that is, no one really knows...

i edited all the qb's in my dynasty. am i stuck with having no scrambling qb's, or will the patch fix it?

Dont know how you are connected to the internet but i simply unplugged the ethernet cord from the back of my xbox and it solves the problem of being stuck trying to load online content (message of day or season showdown)
