NCAA Football 12 Roster Glitch Confirmed, Patch to Address Concerns

@SGMRock, that's exactly what i was hoping wouldn't be the case, thanks for posting that. We now definitely see the scope of this and how bad it truly is.

Honestly, since there's nothing we can do but wait for the patch, i personally want to say thank you to everybody who took time out of playing the game and your lives in general to figure all this out and document the whole thing. I think the efforts of those of you who found this and proved it have done a huge service to all of us who play this game, even those who don't come to forums period. If what Bumble14 said is true, it might be because of OS that this even gets patched to begin with. It just sucks that there was even a glitch this large that needed fixed at all...

Well, this all makes sense. I spent some time in coach mode and Kirk Cousins attempted to be all Denard Robinson-y and Denard Robinson acted all Kirk Cousin-y.

Gotta love that their hyped new addition coaching carousel is a fiasco as well. Just looked at the coach prestige and almost half the NCAA is an A+ by year 3.

It's absolutely disgusting how EA treats those who buy the game. EVERY year there seems to be an absolutely crippling glitch that we find (not them) and they have to respond to. My game also freezes frequently during recruiting (no where else). The fact that they rely on the COMMUNITY for accurate rosters is also an joke. The testing at EA is an abomination.

The fact that NCAA football (not the video game) is pretty much crack to me and I allow EA to attempt to satisfy those urges every year for $60 is pretty disgusting. I admit it, I feel like I'm in a abusive relationship with these guys. Each year I think "no way they can get it wrong again, they have channnnggeeed." And then, they poop in my cereal and take my $60 and tell me STFU until the game becomes functional sometime by the time the real season starts and I can stop living vicariously through my video game accomplishments and enjoy the real thing.

I honestly don't know about C++ or the specifics but I'm just thinking about how the game treats the rosters, what the problem is, what it's doing and looking at it from my experience with programming (although that was about 20 years ago). Perhaps I'm just espousing wishful thinking for the roster community..hope not..

I know one thing, if EA makes the roster guys re-do all their hard work they should give them NCAA 13 early by about 2 weeks next year on the down low to make up for that sort of punishment!!

That's my point, I actually look forward to the challenge that the default rosters presents, but now 2-3 years down the line of my dynasty the same bs as the edited rosters. EA needs to fix this asap. It's beyond me these chimps still have jobs.

They dont QA these games enough or well enough. I have always said they need to have a larger private limited beta test. Shoot I would beta test this game and other EA Sports games for free and even sign a non disclosure agreement on it. All that just to make the end product we all want to play be better. But they wont do that. They have a few paid QA testers that just dont cut it.

I know they test a lot of these builds on the PC to so it should not be hard for them to get builds to QA testers that are not on site. They have to be worried but leaks of course, but of you sign and NDA you can get a nice lawsuit against you if they find out you leaked it.

I have never had the game freeze.. That issue isn't a everyone issue.. The roster bug is
