I all the way to the Cut Players part, went in and checked them at that stage. They ALL still had the SAME tendancies they had on the recruiting board on signing day at this point!

So I advanced past the cut players part and then past the custom conference and schedule part to Week 1. I then went into the Edit Rosters section to check all the players again. A large number of them had changed. Its easier for me to say the ones that didn't, 2 possession recievers I had were still possession. But QB was changes to scrambler from balanced and a bunch of others. I stuck in some screenshots so you can see.

I have more but here is QB and HB changing. Oh and just to verify I only went into Edit Roster to view them I didn't press A at anytime to even open their edit menu. So these changes all on their own without me doing anything to them in edit.
COME ON! This is ridiculous!

Milkmoney like I said I believe that it could affect progression of a player as well. If the progression AI checks against the player type and the player type is listed wrong then it could be progressing the wrong stuff. A Developer would have to verify that but its completely possible.

That's some interesting stuff you provided with those screnshots. So, we actually don't have to edit the named players for this to happen. It's just a bug for the rosters in general. That's even more troubling! It's not all about the named rosters having players edited after all because you used auto-generated rosters!

From a PR standpoint, EA is doing a TERRIBLE job. If this were my company, I would offer a public apology, explain what happened, and what they are doing to fix it...and if possible give a time table. Then make the comish pack for ODs and whatever jerseys free to the public. We already paid 65 dollars for a half made game, this is really the least they could do IMO. This is really pathetic, every single part of this game seems to be broken. Its an absolute joke that everytime I boot up make game I hear bens fat *** speaking about watching "Making OF ncaa football 12". Yeah, I would love to see those videos ben. Why don't you show us how your entire team turned a blind eye to all of these problems, or was it just straight negligence? Either way, it looks terrible for you as a company. Fortunately for you, the majority of your cliental is too naive to notice, and the rest are too obsessed with cfb video games.

I think this is because the people who review them have a limited time to play through the game. It took us a few weeks to find a lot of the issues, especially the roster one.

I never pay attention to reviews because especially when it comes to a dynasty, it's impossible to see the long-term issues. I rely on the community to tell me what's wrong and that apparently is what EA does too.

Yes but the default roster players that were on your team from the start of Dynasty did stay the same. #16 QB (Denard Robinson in RL) remained a scrambler with the random names and even into season 2 of the dynasty he was still a scrambler so it didn't change those players, but the new guys you recruit get screwed up just like the guys do on the edited rosters. So what you recruit is not what you get unless you recruit one of the 3 things of each catagory that doesn't change.

For instance its a 1 for 1 switch. With the 3rd type remaining true to form. Pocket passers will remain that way, Power backs will stay that way, Possession WR's will stay that way. But Balanced QBs always go to Scrambler and vise versa. Balanced HB's go to Speed and vise versa.

Somewhere in their programing someone got some numbers reversed I have a good feeling

After seeing what the glitch is...I really don't think it would be that hard for EA to patch this and they should be able to do so without effecting the named rosters. They just have to patch it so that player tendency stays the same for each player.

Actually Gotmadskillzson found this bug in the first couple days, but not everyone believed him or understood the full impact of it. I for one remember reading his thread about it and thinking hmm thats kinda lame that happens. But after messing with the game more I started to see it was much farther reaching.
