I finally had a chance to run a few races.

I like what I see so far....they made it better.

I notice the damage being improved and the tougher qualifying is forcing me to race harder.

I did notice that I can dive low coming out of turn 4 on the 1.5 ovals and pass too many cars.....however like others have posted....if I run real lines I get real results.

Not sure if I'm brave enough to try the wheel yet....I will let others blaze that trail.

I'm looking forward to trying the 2011 add on.

Agree Rich, on those 1.5 tracks you can still dive-bomb, but I just choose not to. The game isn't perfect, but its fun, and I also am looking forward to the 2011 DLC. If I can find my damn 360 wheel, I would bust it out, and try--just need to find it first.

I raced 70 laps at Atlanta and 100 laps at Kansas. AI cars will pit during a long green. During a caution 4 ai controled cars came in to the pits with me. One issue i have seen a couple of times now with pitting is that after going green from caution the ai drivers will make one green flag lap and then 30 cars will move to the lower grove and try to make a pit stop.

I assume Bro, that you didn't lose a lap for pitting like pre-patch though--correct??

Also, if the guys over on Eutes board are correct, and not over-dramatizing things(which they love to do) It seems like the online portion of the patch didn't do much to fix anything. That's a big bowl of suck for guys who play online. I use iRacing for online, so this is just a fun game to throw in, when I want to race on the 360 against the AI.

Nope didnt lose a lap on pit road.

Edit: I have not done a green flag pit stop either. All been under caution.

Not sure why that many cars would not have pitted while under caution. Taking a green pit right after caution would put them a lap down.

It happened at Atlanta i was 28th 20 cars pit i finished 8th. This was with under 5 laps left in the race.
