Skrine was only projected to be a 5th round pick on most boards.

Re: Madden NFL 12 Rookie Ratings - Top Ten Defensive Backs

I'm wondering what the ratings for the Jaguars two DB's are going to be. Chris Prosinski is a guy that will compete (with the current FS's) for a starting spot his rookie year. And Rod Issac is looked at as the presumptive nickle CB.

But they are both smaller school guys who were overlooked by the talking heads. Gene does his work on those players and I have every bit of confidence that they can play, but I just don't want to see them rated in the 40's-50's for the first few roster updates.

All the best to him, however.
This exactly. Ras-I is athletically gifted no question but what good does that do you when you are on the bench for almost every game? If DaQuan Bowers' overall dropped because of injury and lack of sustainability then Ras-I's should also. C'mon man, the Bills get no love besides the Dareus overall

Ras-I Dowling after last year was rated a 1st round after last year. I thought if there were too CB's the pats would take is Ras-I Dowling or Jimmy Smith, both had knocks on them, Smith had off the field issues. amd Dowling was hurt. These two players i believe are going to have the best CB's careers. Not that two above them are not good, but smith is a physical feak and dowling is a beast when he's healthy, and it's hard to say he's not good when BB picked him, and he picked Gronkowski last year, and i thought he was the biggest pro bowl snub as a rookie, bc mercedes lewis finally had a decent year when his contract is up, and Gronkowski didn't play his last year before coming to the NFL in the 2nd round where they picked Ras-I Dowling in the 2nd round.

P-Pat will make a killing in the NFL

That being said, I hope the Eagles can strike a deal with the Cards for him instead of DRC

Hey, a man can dream can't he?

As much as I like PP7, I hate seeing rookies in the 80s. Give him a 79, but not 80+.

Oh, the humanity...

Re: Madden NFL 12 Rookie Ratings - Top Ten Defensive Backs

What's all the fuss about Ras-I? I understand Williams is a decent CB but if you think back before the season started Ras-I was the #2-3 CB rated ahead of Williams. The ONLY knock on Ras is that he is injury prone which is something he can't control. Think about this, his rating would be even hire if he did not pull his hamstring 5 yards before the line at the combine to run a 4.4 40 FLAT.....That's to tell you he was 4.3 bound....LAY OFF OF HIM!!!!
