I really felt that Aaron Rodgers should have been a 99 overall rating. I disagree with the Revis rating. he is certainly skilled enough but he missed alot of time last season.

So Rodgers winning one compared to Brady's three and the fact he threw 4 picks all year makes them equal? Not to mention Rodgers has better personnel around him. Brady is top three QB's of all time, Rodgers isn't even the best Packer QB of all time.

I actually agree with this statement. IMO 99 should be left to MUT.

pro-bowl players 90-93 (Ray Lewis, 90)
elite (cusp of pro bowl) 87-88 (e.g. Wes Welker, 88)
Very Good 85-87 (3 years of consistently good numbers e.g. Anquan Boldin, 87)
Good 80-84 (e.g. Hines Ward, 82)
average NFL starter 70-79 (Deion Branch, 71)
2nd string bench contributor - 60-69 (Tully Banta-Cain)
bench player/special teams standout 50-59 (e.g. Brandon Tate, 52)
end of roster/special teams player 40-49
1st rounders - 65-70
2nd rounders - 60-65
3rd rounders - 50-59
drafted after the 4th round - 40-49
rookie free agent - 30-39
I can agree with this except for the rookies. I'd make the following changes:

1st rounders - 70-79 (absolute elite rookies in college above 77: Von Miller, A.J. Green, Prince Amukamara, Marcell Dareus)
2nd & 3rd rounders - 60-69 (a pretty even distribution here)
Rounds 4 through 7 - 46-59
rookie free agent - 30-45

I know that no rookie ever proves that he belongs in the NFL, but that doesn't mean that you can't neglect what he's done at a level lower. Anyway, there's a lot that goes into the NFL draft, why should it not be reflected?

Those all make sense, but there is no way EA would drop ratings that much. Gotta keep the players happy.

pffft! lol are you serious. 6 more games, only 220 more yards, and 1 less TD. . . how dare you. Worst attempt @ a proven point I've seen in a while lol. Cowboys' fans are the worst!

He's not better than Gates, not even close. High 90s huh? Okay. No. The whole Cowboys TEAM is over-rated and you're complaining, 6-10 team but want everyone to be the best lol. PAPER CHUMPS!

college doesn't mean much bro. I watched Timmy Chang set countless records @ Hawaii. he couldn't even get through an NFL training camp.

70-79 is way too high tho. why not let their ratings go up when they actually DESERVE it instead? let's not forget about the "absolute elite sure-bet rookies" (chuckle) that crap out every year.....Alex Smith, Troy Williamson or Jamarcus Russell? the list goes on and on. let them stay at 65-70...that's what roster updates are for.

i hear you scfootballfan, but i guess thats why nba 2k is a great SIM (lower ratings) and Madden is not.
