PS2 Version doesn't look like 2k9. They both are DVD format but PS2's processors are older and outdated XBOX's are newer and better. The PS2 version can't get any better.

They're not putting in as much time and effort into the PS2 version when they have PS3 and Xbox standards to live up to, which is fair in my opinion. If you want the good graphics, you should invest in a new console.
