There are unconfirmed reports that OS staff writer Dustin Toms literally carries around his NES copy Tecmo Super Bowl in his cargo shorts on a daily basis.

While I want to believe that rumor is true, what is fact is that Dustin has been playing Tecmo Bowl Throwback on his iPhone, and he wants to tell you folks whether or not it's worth your time and money.

Er....I might be misunderstanding you (especially with the joystick part), but Throwback is available on both the PSN and XBL.

As for a joystick, well....you could buy a fightstick and use that, although you might want something with a little more substance to actually justify the price tag. I certainly use mine for more than just fighting games, though

It's both funny and sad that people hacking the game on the Internet can do a better job updating this franchise than Tecmo has in the last 3 years.

i bought this game hopeing for a good tecmo bowl game.hopefully they make a tecmo bowl throwback 2 with the nes rosters
