i have a 1080p tv and i have all the resolutions picked for display on my ps3 so it can pick the best one. this demo plays at 720p auto for me. maybe if u force it to 1080p, it looks worse cuz ur stretching the 720p demo to 1080p and blurring the graphics a lil?

i get confused with the ps3 cuz when i only check 480p and 1080p, some games will play in 1080p (socom 4) but other games like killzone 3 wont and will only display 480p. some demos are the same way. so then i have to check 720p so they can display in that resolution. weird....cuz on my 360 all my games will play in 1080p no problem.

The game feels the same as last year imo....for those of us that like to run the triple option this game offers nothing. the game speed and animations are just too fast to have a consistent triple option offense

To me the removal of suction is great but it seems that it has led to more non physical tackles from certain angles. It kinda feels like they removed the suction which engaged collision detection and now it just kinda looks like when you throw a side hit or hit a ball carrier when another is holding him. It feels like you are tackling air but in reality you are tackling the ball carrier. Feels weird.
Yeah, I got that feeling too. Kind of like the weight was taken out of the collisions. It's sort of a trade off I guess, the suction added some oomph to tackles but didn't look natural. The wrapping up now seems a little off without it tho. Still not a dealbreaker tho.

Well, I'm not sure what to tell you. Sorry? LOL

3D Grass? The only 3D grass this game has is in replays. Its actually one of my little gripes. The grass looks flat as heck while your actually playing the game. Why adversite 3D grass when its really not in the game play?

Other than that, the game feels sturdy. Feels nice and grounded. The collision detection feels spot on this time around. I still need to play more but with the two games i've played its been fun

Yea I guess is a good trade off to have but I hope the game speed option is there to lower it a bit. I gotta say that the non collision tackles was killing me a bit

Impressions from someone who didn't play NCAA 11 (PS3 version-All American difficulty):

Pros
*Pre-game presentation is incredible!
*Love the ESPN integration (of course I wish there was much more)
*I love being able to break tackles and keep pushing while running
*Defensive zones seem very accurate. Got an INT in each game played in zone coverage
*Big hits (an Alabama safety just blew up my screen pass and lit my HB up for a fumble)
*Uniforms look great
*Love the variety in the playbooks

Cons
*Not enough time to make pre-snap adjustments
*Do not like the random breaks in crowd noise
*Hate the commentary...too stale and repetitive
*Way too many pancakes by the CPU
*CPU catch-up speed/acceleration is "fake". On 2 Texas INTs, the Texas QB chased me down and tackled my CBs. I should've had a Pick 6 on both INTs.
*PS3 graphics leave a lot to be desired. Colors aren't as crisp as the 360.
*Not able to generate a User-controlled pass rush

All in all, I like the demo. So glad I didn't buy NCAA 11 and skipped a year. Looking forward to the retail version...and sliders!

The PS3 is not as sharp as the 360 but I do like that it has DTS.

I also noticed the lag when choosing formations and the plays displaying.

The 3D is only on replays and it looks nice. The gameplay grass looks like always but not a big deal.

All I can say is solid game all around. No suction is amazing in this game. Running game, pass rush, it's a;most a whole new game.

I player locked a few positions I will play RTG and it's made me glad I reserved a copy day one.'

I have to say the PR's and KR's are much better.
