NCAA Football 12 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (360, PS3)

I normally stay away from "impression" threads due to the direction they unfortunately take sometimes...but this demo is pretty good. I would say, it's the best of the NCAA demos released up to this point by EA.

Few things that stood out to me:

- Almost immediately noticed that suction blocking was a thing of the past. Never paid much attention to it in past NCAA installments, but I can definitely tell the difference in the running game.

- Zone defense is nice and more true to form.

- Presentation is very nicely done. I would have liked the ability to play in Bryant-Denny with Alabama, but it's obvious EA wanted to show off the FSU new intro...which I gotta say I have always liked in real life.

July 12 can't get here soon enough!

On a petty sidenote, EA overdid it with the dreads...lol.

I give up some points on AA, but I can score with ease. I mix the pass and run pretty well and try to play a sim-like style. Overall, I'd say my average AA score is 27-14 and my average heisman score is 14-7, but I usually keep the CPU under wraps in heisman better than AA. Kind of strange.

Basicly, AA seems kind of easy at the moment, and Heisman is like the perfect level for me with the demo at its current state. I am by no means a great NCAA player, might just be having a good day!

Can people post whether they are on 360 are PS3? I find it quite odd that some people are saying it's the best ever and some are saying they hate it. I think it may have something to do with the different systems. As for my impression, just from the demo I'd call this NCAA 11.5. That's not necessarily a bad thing cause I loved in 11. I just don't think there is areal big difference. My wife thought it was the same game lol.

Glitch I went for two scored play was reviewed showed I got stopped at goaline instead of kicking off it was there ball at the inch line 1st and 10 w my 6 points on th board.

Looks can be deceiving, the more I play the less it feels like 11 and more like 12 or a new game. I'm on 360

Really liked the demo, feels really polished and complete in various areas. The graphics are amazing in my opinion. The gameplay is pretty good. One thing I don't like is the qb sack animation where he throws it but it's really a fumble. That needs to be taken out ASAP. Ummm pretty much meets my expectations and more, can't wait until I have the real thing in my hands sometime next week. Go Canes
