TLDR to the rest of this thread so heres my observation

two things i worried about most seem to be better

1-Teams running much better... not sure about option though i stuffed it against oregon a few times, hopefully it gets better

2-psychic defense seems gone. I really mixed it up with oregon and i never saw the defense in a 4-3 against 3wr. THANK GOD!!


Anyone got a good read on the offense running the option, i really dont want GA tech to be so easy to beat again this year.

It is too long, but I actually like it that way, even though it is a little unrealistic. It adds a really great graphical flare to the game.

I have been told by a great many people who have been around for a while that last year the demo for PS3 looked worse than the 360 as well but they tweaked it quite a bit before release and the final product was very close to the xbox version.

Oh, and Dan, I didn't mean to make it sound like its cupcake level, but the CPU QB is very ineffective passing the ball, IMO, on AA

No penalties...may just be the demo.

Blitzing means either you will sack the QB or they will burn you for a TD. Every time I blitzed I either sacked the QB or he hit a wide open man running free.

Still haven't fixed passes hitting lineman.

DL seems pretty beastly and took over for LB's in terms of jumping ability.

Presentation is nice but hopefully it turns out better, more stat overlays and such (why can't they capitalize more on the ESPN partnership is beyond me, look at what NCAA Basketball did). Can we get rid of the stat overlays for the 2-pt conversion, I hate seeing it pop up saying WR #84 Catch for 0 yards.

Kickoff animation is really done well this year.

Why did they change the play calling menu, no shortcut to goalline formation anymore and the up-down rather than side-to-side is going to throw people for a loop.

People will abuse the slot man in 5 wide all day, automatic.

Game plays faster IMO.

Is the grass really 3D during gameplay - it only appears to show up during cut scenes.

Played it on the PS3.

Thanks for that. What about that sound can they tweak that also? I agree with you it sounds muffled.
