i like the demo, i had few segments with gametracks besides the beginning of the 3rd quater..i think the full game will be so much better....the tackling is nice the gameplay is much smoother although i enjoyed ncaa 11 alot.....the sound is very low in the demo the big hits and crowd noise , but i'm sure the full game sound will be better

Oh, and the crowd was dead for me in the Texas Oregon matchup. Gonna play my first FSU game now hopefully its better. Oh, and yes, the ever prevalent 60 yard FG attempt reared its ugly head on heisman again
that happened to me multiple times so far, and sometimes the CPU QB will throw the ball 10 yards out of bounds to the sideline within 2 seconds even without instant pressure.

I played it just now. It feels a bit smoother than '11. Had a 13-10 thriller as FSU v. Bama and easily beat Oregon w/ Texas 17-0. Really dont have any negatives except the usual CPU's ways to win. Looking forward to July 12th

Re: NCAA Football 12 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (360, PS3)

Had a few games and will just quickly rattle off what I had..

Too many sacks, it seemed like I could always get the quarterback, sometimes from good pressure somtimes from the QB holding the ball for too long.

QB still isn't 'intelligent'. Might've been the player (Gilbert). Going off the first one, he made a great play to completely avoid the rush weaving through the collapsed pocket, but he completely held the ball and ended up being sacked after making the great play. Second time, it was a HB screen, with one guy running a fly, all on the left hash, when the lineman pulled, Gilbert rolled out to the right side ending up with a sack. (No receiver on the right side.)

Some weird animations mainly from the spin move. I spun a guy out with a player on FSU, barely at full speed (if even), I ended up getting an animation where I shot out full speed (I was running up field) laterally and ran out of bounds, I randomly managed to pick up speed while changing my direction 90 degrees. It happened twice with the spin move.

Running is too easy. Using Oregon and FSU I completely dominated the ground game, most runs were for 10+ yards and these were base runs, no options.

QB's don't seem to scramble, hopefully it's just the case of small sample size but Gilbert and whoever is QB at Bama never took off, even with daylight. They would get good movement in the pocket but they never seemed to move out of it.

Intentional grounding continues to not be called, even if the ball is thrown completely away, it's a bit annoying.

Swats arent as effective, seem way too soft. Swats can be a key momentum shift and I haven't noticed any swat that didn't let the ball hang in the air for a second or so. (Hopefully small sample size)

Not to be negative I loved the demo, some things I really liked

The coverage is completely better. I hated always being among the league worst in the NCAA in Passing Yards allowed, now I saw the CPU making some plays which is great. Man and Zone are fully improved.

No suction makes inside running possible again, hitting holes isn't a 50/50 shot anymore, if there's a hole and the defender can't free himself from the block, your getting some yards. It's nice to not have to avoid holes and always run to the outside to avoid suction.

The game feels really fluid and for the most part animations feel right, but I've had a few odd ones.

Play seems more random and erratic. (Reflecting more to real life)

Game is beautiful but the 3D grass leaves a lot to be desired. (As other's said, cutscene only)

Also is it just me or are players not getting dirty? Jerseys look as clean at the end as they did at the start.

I got to say the demo was pretty good in gameplay and the lighting looks amazing and Florida State's helmets look amazing!

Gilbert did this to me twice too. The first one he sat in the pocket for a little while, got pressure and then chucked it out of bounds (which is good).

The 2nd time, I called a zone blitz and brought 5 guys. Within half a second and without me getting any pressure, he chucked it up into the stands for no apparent reason.
