so we still have no idea what any of the players are rated? Has anyone played against Bama and if so, is their D line unblockable?

not sure, my first play in the demo (i had oregon) i ran an option to the right and scored. I hope it isn't consistently wide open to make the spread option appear to work better.

Has anyone played PS3 demo yet?
Does the graphics look similar or is Xbox better?

Played a couple more games, this time with FSU. On the plus side I haven't noticed the blitzing issue that people were talking about. I didn't record a single sack and my blitz was picked up every time.

But, the downside to that is that most of the time my entire D-line was getting put on their butt within a second. It's so silly and doesn't make any sense to have your D-line get knocked down, all at the same time, all right when the ball is snapped.

Also, the blocking is really becoming problematic, again. Assignment logic really needs work. Often you'll notice WRs miss the most logical blocks and never touch anyone. They'll go to one guy, change their mind, go somewhere else, and by that time I'm tackled because they never put a hand on a single defender.

Plus, there's still no chip blocking or shoves. They have to be face to face in order to engage, which also makes the blocking bad and nonexistent in certain situations.

Played 2 games on AA (Alabama and Oregon) and won both games 21-0. I got a ton of pressure byt just playing as the Right DE and sitting back in a cover 3. Slants and Verticals are still pretty open to me. The intros are nice to watch once or twice but they are a little boring with no sound. I love the game tracks, but I had the same one 2x in one game. Not sure what is the new X button on D suppose to do (I didnt feel anything different from it). Overall, I liked it, but I enjoyed 11.

I always find it hard to play these games with just numbers and not real names...

The player movement/momentum on this game just feels weird to me. I'm tolerating it moreso than enjoying it. Changes in direction don't look right and the player seems to light in movement. This is most apparent when making a player cut. Although some foot planting is present, it's not convincing enough to make the open field running feel authentic.

Presentation has some nice touches. I like the end of the 1st quarter highlight reel and gametrack at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. The postgame highlights seem drawn out and cumbersome, but at least they are their with player of the game included.

Re: NCAA Football 12 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (360, PS3)

So far my only real gripes are running out of the shotgun (I had almost no success at it as Oregon playing on AA) and defenders warping/magically accelerating at crazy speeds to swat away passes.

I think the tackling is very improved but it's still not at the level I would like it to be. In my experience there are very few instances of another defender actually adding onto a tackle, but instead the first defender falls off while the second finishes the job. There are also still many instances where defenders are falling around like bowling pins.

I have to admit, I feel better/more optimistic about the game after playing the demo, but I also feel that gameplay is still not quite where I would like it to be.
