Which game is better for the strictly offline gamer?

I haven't played Virtua Tennis, but one gripe I have with Top Spin 4 is the graphics. I think they are spectacular, but wonder why they have so many arenas with roofs that create shadows. It seems like half of the courts are unplayable for me because it's too difficult to pick the ball up.

So is there a difference between the PS3 or 360? I am going to get this game soon and wondering if I should get it for the PS3 or the 360.

Top Spin 4 is a under-dog in the world of Sports Gaming. It is very much sim to the bone. I hope the NBA 2K team can take some ques from TP4 and incorporate the live crowd and atmosphere, its beautiful! Well done 2K...well done!!

I'm a fan of both these series but I do have to say that Top Spin does seem to have the edge this year. Both are fun but if you want the best Tennis game on the market you would be best to purchase Top Spin 4.
