New lighting looks great, commentary still lacking but the new added Herbstreet lines will be appreciated, gameplay looks nice. My biggest complaint is lack of atmosphere. There should be at the least some generic marching band songs playing between plays.

No, they are correct. Here is a picture I took while at the Spring Game in April. They face this way because that is where all the press boxes and club boxes are.

The silence between plays is weird. Seems like in past editions the bands would play more often. The crowd is just way too quiet. Is there a reason for this?

The ESPN presentation is great and everything, but it doesn't look like they've added any more stat overlays so there's still only the previous play and probably milestone ones.
I was really hoping for the att/comp, rushes/yds, sacks/tackles, etc. Maybe they've just been skipped through.
