On a side note, maybe it's just me but the dreads... yeah I might just edit those out my guys. Don't like them.
The Bama guy sure did not play like Bama. 1 run to Richardson the whole drive? Then again, when the Pass D is non-existent, might as well take advantage of it.

Alabama will move the ball on anyone though, they are stacked. I remember last year how I could literally not stop them with anyone unless my team had one of the best D's in the game and even then it was tough.

Great footage of some SEC football though.

Liked the kickoff angle better than it has been the past two years.

Also liked how the wildcat play actually worked. Looks promising.

It looks like you are going to have to mix it up in this game. In that IGN vid awhile back man coverage got burned with double moves, which is good, in this one, the guy played zone every time and got burned. If you watch, the zone took care of the TE crossing routes, which is a money play in NCAA 11, but the deep route came open with no pressure. IMO that is how it should be.

I like what I see except for the stonewalling of good d-linemen

Ben played terrible on D he deserved to get scored on but even then he still almost had a sack and could have had a pick on that lob pass to the endzone that was knocked down

Defense only looked weak because Ben took his secondary players out of position on both of the long passing plays:

Re: NCAA 12 Gamplay Unedited

Watched it again, SOLELY looking at OL/DL interaction the entire video.

Just from this video...I'm legitimately concerned on DL pass rush effectiveness.

The ONLY time any defensive lineman even got close to the Bama QB was when the Human player rolled completely out of the pocket and right next to the DE. If he was in the pocket, there was literally ZERO push by the Front Four. The only other pressure came on manual user blitzes or bitzes by the LBs. Nothing from the 4 man rush.

I checked to see if the Bama D line was any better, but you can't in that video. Ben didn't run a real pass play on his drive. He either ran or threw a screen pass, which makes it impossible to discern how the Bama D line did against the AU O line.

That being said, the Bama O line stonewalled the AU D line every single pass play.

That is alarming. Hope to see more vids and I will only be looking at OL/DL interaction.

The pass defense, run blocking, etc....they all look great. But if a 4 man rush is useless, that could make games become score fests again.

Watch the vid again on passing plays and look at the Front Four. Pass rush is nonexistent on pass plays, at least in this video.
