I actually like that. Maybe he doesn't want to be a HB, but he prefers defense.

A common real life example are guys who play QB in HS, but all big named schools want to convert him to WR instead. A lot of guys will go to the smaller school for the option of playing QB instead.

Re: RTG

Nice little teaser. I know it's not new information, but I love that you play both sides of the ball in RTG this year. It was nice to see more "power houses" wanted him on offense and some of the weaker schools wanted him to play D.

My question is how is it started.
I think you pick a primary and secondary position.

Re: RTG

A gameplay Question that fully effects RTG.
Is CPU opposing team AI/playcalling fixed?
I am not talking about our coaches playcalling. I am talking about the opposing teams playcalls. I hate Being a RB and the CPU AI knowing that it is a run play and blitzing me every time.

This 100%. And I'll add that this is where you see instant commits going to schools where they'd like to attend (family went there, position of choice, gets along with coach, chance to start as a FR).

But also remember that those bigshot schools will likely redshirt him, and at best, he'd get a starting spot for two years of college. The lower you go in school prestige, the more likely you'll play, stand out from the crowd, and let's not forget that transfers do happen.

Transfers... I wonder if that's in RTG?

Re: RTG

It's looking like you will be forced to play both sides in high school. Hope not.

I don't know where this guy played in High School, but where I'm from you 90% of the kids (once your not playing playground ball) focus being great at one position.

same where I'm from. We technically had a position on offense and defense, but no one actually played both ways. I was TE/OLB, but I never ran a single play as a TE in a game.

kids from all over play both sides of the ball. One of Miami's recruits that eventually transfered to UCF last year was a Cornerback, but also played Wide Reciever and Runningback. In fact, a good portion of his highlights were from playing Offense and he will be playing defense in college.
