Weren't the coaches in 07 pretty much spot on? I wonder what happened? I seem to recall Jullian looked like Jullian in 07 but hasn't since. Wonder if there's some "coaches union" or some waiver that the NHL coaches would need to sign to have their likeness in the game much like player waivers.

This is a big one for me. Over all presentation aside from adding the "ticker messages" and the splash team vs overlay, really hasn't changed much since the series debut on current gen. Hopefully we get a major upgrade this year. As much as I love the game, even I think the presentation is starting to get a tad stale mostly due to the static commentary (that at times is actually wrong) Would love to see them do a NBA2k style of presentation of not only upcoming games but commentary that's more pertinent to what's actually going on during the game. Rather than the same lines you hear game in game out.

You think? NBA might be somewhat closer, but I'd say hockey coaches tend to live WAY shorter lives than NFL coaches.

I don't think they need any waiver's to sign. NHL 2004 had accurate coaches (darryl sutter for calgary looked like darryl sutter). NHL 12 from the first few screens does look to have improved the whole bench (including facial animations of coaches).
