I could understand that, because the pre-order PCs are a reward for pre-ordering the game. But, seeing as how that's only half of the Pro Combat lineup, we can assume the other 5 teams with new Pro Combat unis (Alabama, Miami, Oregon State, West Virginia, and Florida) would be featured in the demo, giving us the opportunity to unlock those by playing it.

If that's the case, then EA would probably offer the pre-order PCs for 480 MS Points, or about $6. It costs at least $5 to reserve (at Gamestop) so that's pretty fair. But would they make a Pro Combat uniform Package, with all 10 uniforms, for more?

Cant wait to see this:

and this:

In the game. Hopefully EA has the other 5 teams with this year's (2010 editions) Pro Combats in the demo. (Alabama, West Virginia, Miami, Oregon State, and Florida). Safe to say Florida and Miami will be a demo option based off of the first screenshot.

The Boise State Pro Combats are SICK, which is available along with Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, TCU, and Ohio State. But that would leave out Alabama, Miami, Oregon State, West Virginia, and Florida, for a total of 10, based off of this lineup: http://www.nikeblog.com/2010/09/01/2...mbat-uniforms/

If we could unlock the rest by playing the demo, and based off of the first screenshot, it's fair to say that Florida vs. Miami would be a demo matchup. But what about the other teams?
2 demo matchups, 5 unlocked uniforms

Thanks, that means we'll have the full 2010 Pro Combat lineup (IF you preorder and play the demo)

This is an entirely new type of feature though. This is a whole new world for console gaming. In the past there was never integration with the web like this. Last year they started branching into it and now we see it continuing to grow. So there hasn't been any precedent for this type of feature before.

I was unaware that you could advance dynasties, do your recruiting, and sim games from a PC in any previous xbox football title. Please show me where that happened before.

I don't believe there have been features similar to this web content in the past. This is a new type of feature. I could be wrong and if so please show me past examples.

I was away for a while and just came across these, I know I'm a little late in responding to these... the rest of the thread has devolved quite a bit. I respect anyone's opinion who does not like having to pay for these, and anyone who refuses to buy them or doesn't want them... I've taken offense when the argument has turned into "how can you defend this" or being called out because I have a different opinion, or have been treated as though I was stupid for not following someone else's opinion/logic on this topic. And so I have defended MY opinion, but I've tried to value everyone's opinions on this.

Unless some new info is released on this I'm out of this discussion from now (unless someone specifically asks a question pointed at me).

Thanks for the discussion.

Yeah I agree, I'm done with this thread. Looking forward to E3 and the gameplay videos that should come from it.

I don't mind DLC in a game as it is the new norm, however I think it should be for enhancements/cheat or special perks, map packs etc. Not for features that should be in the game already. better yet make the whole game downloadable al la carte, where you can download the basic game for a set price and whatever features you want. Example basic game say $30, then if I want online dynasty I can pay extra for that if I don't play online then no need for me to pay for that.

I would love for it to be done that way. If you only want to play offline Dynasty mode: $29.99. Only want to play online: $29.99. Want the ability to play offline Dynasty as well as play online: $59.99.

I am pretty much just an offline gamer and I hate paying $60 for some games where half of the game is online and I don't use it at all. EA always wants to be innovative in the industry with stuff like this, here is their chance, lol.
