You doubt it affects anything major... thats right you dont KNOW. please stop posting because you dont know what you are talking about. i have a dynasty in 2k8 where my coach is a stud but the assistants suck and i still dominate. Stop proclaiming your assistants matter in that game they dont.

And NCAA 12's CC is deeper techinally. Because in 2k8 you dont start as an assistant. In NCAA 12 you can start off as an OC/DC. You're making 2k8 sound like its the most complex thing ever when its not. Its a nice feature just like NCAA 12's and they are on par with each other from what I can tell with the information that has been released on NCAA 12's. I will know once the game is released. But its looks good with all this information released

At the end of the day I'd prefer if you do not buy and play any EA Sports game and stick with your 2K releases.

My second wish is that you would change your forum avatar, because I am a huge Braves fan and you are completely representing them badly with your antics in this forum.

Can I get a Whitness?
I find this post a bit comical. I'm okay with you disagreeing with me, but their is no need for name calling. Saying things like I am whiney, unintelligent, etc. is just silly and plain wrong.

And to say I will never be happy with EA Sports is completely wrong. The last game I played on my 360 was Fight Night Champion, an EA Sports game. Also, chances are I will be buying NCAA 1w during the midnight release. I am very disappointed in how the CC has turned out, but the retuned CPU recruiting, improved defense, and other additions are enough to make me spend the $30 it cost me to buy the game.

I may come off as someone who hates EA, but I do not mean to be like that. I truly appreciate their efforts, but at the same time I don't like how they've handled the CC. To me the most important part is ratings, so it seems pointless to me. That is my opinion. I hope I am dead wrong in what I have said, but I doubt the CC really does much this year outside of having teams switch schemes every few years. Other than that it will pretty much be the same dynasty mode we've had in terms of coaches and their effects.

i dont think you come off as someone who hates EA, i just think you have unrealistic memories of 2k8. though. the only thing really different in NCAA 12 (from the info they released) and 2k8, is that in 2k8 you get to hire your assistant coaches.

OK. I get your point, it's just your opinion. Newsflash, your opinion is wrong, which is a fact backed up by the Blog updates which detail all the various ways that the CC is implemented. Take off your 'Coach rating' blinders and you'll be much happier with this NCAA 12 CC feature.

There were more ratings for coaches teaching/offense/defense and there was a rating for how ambitious assistants were.

I still play 2k8 to this day. I probably get in 5 games a week on average, so those memories are very fresh. Coach ratings do matter or at least with the sliders we use. I can definitely tell a difference in how players have progressed the past few years compared to when we started the legacy. I also can see major differences in defense because I now have sported the #1 defense in my conferences the past few years and its not the recruits I am getting. Yea, they're better, but me an my assistants are making these players gain defensive skills through our ratings and throughout practices my players are gaining more points in their Def rating than ever before.

So if you're playing as an OC you don't control your players? All you do is call plays?

Even so, the comparisons are getting a bit ridiculous. 2K sports made CH2K8, not EA Sports.

EA Sports obviously didn't copy exactly how 2K did it and why should they? It's their first year putting this feature in and they want to do it their way. So the comparisons to a game that was put out in 2007, by a different company, who obviously had a different vision just need to stop and stop now.
