Actually, even when they were hidden, you could select the potential column and do a sort. Even though the coumn data was missing, the sort function would still list the players in order of their potential.

So, you wouldn't see the actual letter grades, but you could pretty much know the potential by seeing how high they were, and using the actual OVR numbers for the career prime established players to see what the potential cap was likely to be for younger players.

Same stuff we know.

I love that when you look at the pic
You see Todd Collins saying ,"Just give me one shot. This is my one chance"

All solid info. I cant wait to be immersed in franchise once again. I love the idea of dynamic game planning...i wonder if this will effect teams out of playoff contention (start to play younger QB's)

My only questions are
  1. Will there be any info or blog about franchise presentation? Such that will there be changes to the User Interface, league leaders, etc
  2. Will there be any tie-ins to in game banners refelcting season stats etc? Such as league leaders

The potential stayed the same for every player unless you used different rosters so say you started a franchise with the 49ers you see all their potentials. Then you start another franchise with the Falcons now you know the potentials for both those teams. That translated to online franchise an everyone knew every players potential which made trading horrible.

Now all I have to decide is to either buy an x-box 360 or rebuy a ps3 to play madden on. Hmmm

Heck, Commentary period.

Re: Madden NFL 12 Blog - Franchise Mode in Madden 12

I have forgot what it felt like to be excited about a new Madden. I really missed this feeling.

Thanks to Josh and EA

I feel what you are saying but I meant like when I am controlling one player on the field, I can now expect the other 10 players to behave like their real life counterpart. So when I am playing with my one and only NFL team, the Redskins, I can now user control a questionable defender, like Reed Doughty, while counting on stars, like Brian Orakpo and veterans, like London Fletcher, to play best when left alone.

I have NEVER been a person that has enjoyed playing against the CPU and have always preferred a human opponent, even with CPU managed teams in franchise. However, that may really change this year with the addition of player traits. I can actually see myself potentially enjoying competing against CPU teams, considering all the additions they have announced.

Wish I could afford to be placed in a medical drug induced coma til Aug 30. LOL

Can't wait.
